# MindLotus

## Core concept

Most audio apps play one track at a time. MindLotus plays two, each with
independent volume, seek position, looping, and — on the premium plan —
independent left/right ear routing. This "dual audio player" model lets
users build their own personalised sound environment: a **background** layer
that sets the mood or energy, and a **foreground** layer that carries the
content the user wants to absorb.

## Positioning — more than meditation

Meditation (e.g. rain ambience under an affirmation) is only one use. The
same two-player mechanic serves many practices:

- **Learning & study**: play focus music under an audiobook, lecture, or
  manual. A relaxed background helps the listener settle in, making the
  material easier to take in and to stay with for longer.
- **Affirmations**: loop an affirmation (or a set) over music the user
  likes, hands-free, so it sinks in while they relax.
- **Training & workouts**: drive a session with high-energy music while
  looping power affirmations over the top.
- **Pure relaxation**: layer two soundscapes (e.g. calm rain under birdsong)
  with no voice at all.

All billing is handled by **Google Play**. EU 14-day right of withdrawal
applies (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)) unless the user
expressly consents to immediate performance and waives withdrawal.

## Privacy posture

- No user personal data is collected by default.
- Anonymous analytics and crash reports are **opt-in** only.
- During the 14-day free trial, a Guided Testing feature may collect
  diagnostic data (crash reports, device info) **only if the user
  explicitly consents** via an in-app dialog. Collection stops
  automatically when the trial ends.
- User audio files are **never** accessed, uploaded, or analysed.
- All Firebase data storage is pinned to the European Union.
